In light of recent events the members of the MUNOM Executive Team would like to give an update on the state of the conference. As of now, the executive team hopes to hold the annual MUNOM conference on schedule, between the 28th and the 31st of October. However, in order to ensure the safety of all participants, the conference will be limited to Malmö Borgarskola’s student body, following Sweden’s current guidelines. This restriction will be revised at a date closer to the conference. The executive team would also like to urge everyone to follow their respective country’s guidelines in order to maintain the wellbeing of each individual. UPDATE REGARDING MUNOM 2020! The Executive Team of MUNOM 2020 would like to give some updates regarding the conference: Unfortunately the conference has been shortened to 3 days. It will now take place between the 28th and 30th of October. ... The number of committees has also been limited to a total of four: Two in the GA and two in the ECOSOC. These will be announced soon on the MUNOM website. Those from schools in the Malmö and Lund region who wish to participate as delegates can now register here: munofmalmo.org Registration must be completed at the latest by the 25th of September. The Position Paper must be submitted to the assigned committee’s email address by the 9th of October. The participation fee has now been reduced to 99 Swedish Krona for all delegates. Chairs will be selected by the PGA and PECOS from a pre-existing pool of participants in Malmö Borgarskola’s MUN club.
