Woke up this morning and read the sad and shocking news that former SKID ROW singer Johnny Solinger has left us. I didn't discover Skid Row until 2003, when I started High School. And the then new album Thickskin was the first album I picked up. It was one of those albums that got me through hard times and has stuck with me since then. Back then I didn't know the whole Skid Row discography and story, but till this day Thickskin is an album that I personally think is one of th...eir best, it was just right for that time, and it still gets played at home from time to time. I will definitely give it a spin today. Had the honor of meeting Johnny twice on my journey as a photographer, and he was always a happy and nice guy.
